The signing of the MoU was done as a manifestation of collaboration and synergy between the two parties in advancing the aspects of the three pillars of education (tridharma) and institutional development.

In his address, Rector Prof. Maxs Sanam expressed gratitude for the opportunity and honor given to him to deliver a speech at the 82nd graduation ceremony of Untar.

Through the signing of the MoU, practical collaboration can be promptly implemented between the two universities. "We believe that the aspects of the three pillars: education, teaching, research, and community service can be further developed together with Untar," he said.

He mentioned that this collaboration is part of Undana's desire to nurture and develop a shared sense of Indonesian identity with Untar.

Furthermore, the Rector of Undana stated that if Untar has the tagline "Untar for Indonesia, for the world," then Undana's tagline is "Undana makes an impact."

Because, in his view, as an institution of higher education, Undana's academics not only spend time and energy on campus for education but also utilize their expertise and competence for the benefit of society, the nation, and the country.

Undana Rector, Prof. Maxs Sanam, delivered a speech at the graduation ceremony of Tarumanagara University in Jakarta on Saturday, November 11, 2023.

The Rector also congratulated the graduates on their academic achievements. "However, what's more important is how the skills and competence you possess can be beneficial for the society and the beloved country," expressed Prof. Maxs Sanam.

"Our prayers are for Untar to continue to grow and achieve its aspirations as a university that is not only pride for Indonesia but for the world," added the Undana Rector in concluding his speech.

Meanwhile, Untar Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., IPU., ASEAN Eng., mentioned that this year's graduation carries the theme "Untar for Indonesia, Untar for the World: Supporting Sustainable Development and Building SDGs."

According to Prof. Agustinus Irawan, the theme must continue to be emphasized because Indonesia is one of the world's pillars with a large population and incredible natural resources and development.

"Positive contributions to sustainable development continue to be made by providing quality higher education services, producing graduates with high competence ready to enter the professional world while considering SDGs," Prof. Agustinus Irawan explained.

Furthermore, Prof. Agustinus Irawan stated that to respond to the challenges of the industrial world, it is accompanied by building an entrepreneurial spirit that can create new opportunities in businesses or ventures initiated by students.
