Academic Achievement-based Selection

SNBP stands for National Selection for Broad-Based Learning, which focuses on recognizing comprehensive learning achievements of students in secondary education. This selection assesses students' achievements, both academically and non-academically.

National-based College Entrance Selection

Seleksi Nasional Berdasarkan Tes (SNBT) is a selection that focuses on measuring the reasoning and problem-solving abilities of students. In SNPMB, the tests conducted no longer emphasize specific subjects but only focus on scholastic tests that measure four essential aspects: Cognitive Potential, Mathematical Reasoning, Literacy in Indonesian Language, and Literacy in English Language.

Local-based Entrance Selection

Public universities (Perguruan Tinggi Negeri/PTN) conduct independent selections to choose new prospective students. Nevertheless, the government ensures that these independent selections are more transparent by providing regulations that must be adhered to by the PTNs.
