PARIS – Universitas Nusa Cendana (Undana) is currently enhancing international collaboration with several world universities. Following the collaboration with Pukyong University (PKNU) in Busan, South Korea last week. This time, Université Paris Nanterre in France becomes the destination for exploring cooperation by this globally-oriented university.
The potential collaboration is carried out by the leadership of Undana, namely Vice Rector (Warek) I for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. drh. Annytha I. R. Detha, M.Si, Vice Rector IV for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems, Prof. Dr. Jefri S. Bale, ST., M.Eng, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Prof. Philiphi de Rozari, S.Si, M.Si, M.Sc, Ph.D, and Head of the International Relations Office, Ir. Maria Lobo, M.Math.Sc., Ph.D
The visit of the Undana leadership was welcomed by the Vice Rector for Administration and Finance of Université Paris Nanterre, Prof. Olivier Polit, and staff Laboratoire Energétique Mécanique Electromagnétisme (LEME), Dr. Ing. Michele D’Olivio, and Prof. Emmanuel Valot, PhD, at the Ville d’Avray site of Université Paris Nanterre, on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
In the discussion, the leaders of Undana proposed potential collaborations that could be undertaken with Université Paris Nanterre. Both parties then agreed to conduct joint research and provide opportunities for teaching staff in the field of engineering – energy, material engineering and electromagnetic – to visit Université Paris Nanterre.
Through this visit, Undana faculty members can also make use of the research facilities available, resulting in joint publications.
After the meeting, both parties also agreed to initiate the signing of document of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the near future, which will officially establish the collaboration between Undana and Université Paris Nanterre.
