"Thank you for choosing Undana as one of the universities included in the series of FGDs organized by the Police Science and Technology Study and Development Division (PPITK) of the Police Science College (STIK) Lemdiklat Polri," said Prof. Annytha.

Undana's Vice Rector I, Prof. Annytha Detha, presented a souvenir to the Head of Public Relations in the PPITK Division, Commissioner Pol Dicky Sondani, accompanied by officials from PPITK and Undana's Head of Planning and Cooperation Bureau, Yefri C. Adoe, SE.

She hopes that this activity can provide knowledge and insights for Undana students on the information space scheme and prevention measures against various forms of cybercrime. cybercrime.

In his presentation, the Head of Public Relations in the PPITK Division, Commissioner Pol Dicky Sondani, explained the challenges of the current cyber dynamics, starting with the presence of proxy wars, where there is a confrontation between two major world powers, such as the United States and Russia, and other nations that are part of it.

With the presence of proxy wars, all countries, including government institutions, must be prepared for hackers/crackers who can potentially breach government and individual data at any time. According to him, hackers are not only difficult to detect but also challenging to apprehend, especially when they are operating outside the country.

Therefore, he urged the academic community of Undana to be cautious in using social media and to fortify themselves with strong media literacy skills.

He requested that the public, especially the academic community, not be provoked into making accusations, using offensive language, and committing various other crimes on social media, as it could lead to legal consequences under the Information and Electronic Transactions Law (UU ITE). (rfl)
