KUPANG - Nusa Cendana University (Undana) established collaboration with <\/em>The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM). The signing of a <\/em>Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was conducted by the Rector of Undana, Prof. Dr. drh. Maxs U. E. Sanam, M.Sc, and <\/em>Managing Director <\/em>TIIKM Sri Lanka, Isanka P. Gamage at the Undana Rectorate Meeting Room on Monday, October 31, 2023.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Also present on the occasion were the Vice Rector III for Student Affairs and Alumni, Dr. Sipri Suban Garak, M.Sc, Vice Rector IV for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems, Prof. Dr. Jefri S. Bale, ST., M.Eng, Director of the Graduate Program, Prof. Drs. Tans Feliks, M.Ed., Ph.D, Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Dr. Malkisedek Taneo, M.Si, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture (Faperta), Dr. Muhammad S. M. Nur, M.Si, Head of the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM), Dr. Damianus Adar, M.Ec, and Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FST), Kristomus Boymau, ST, MT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his address, Vice Rector Prof. Maxs Sanam welcomed the presence of Director TIIKM, Isanka Gamage, and his team. He stated that Undana has a vision of becoming a globally oriented university with comparative and competitive advantages in the field of arid island areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through these advantages, various fields can be collaborated, including agriculture, animal husbandry, medicine, veterinary medicine, environment, public health, and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI hope this collaboration is not only in the form of signing the MoU but can be continued in practical terms. So that this collaboration can benefit both parties and be useful for the community,\u201d concluded Prof. Maxs Sanam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, the Rector mentioned that despite being located in the southern part of Indonesia, all members of Undana have a high spirit and commitment to realizing a better Undana day by day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TIIKM Sri Lanka's Director, Isanka P. Gamage, mentioned during the occasion that his visit to Undana aims to collaborate on various academic programs in different aspects such as social, health, economy, agriculture, fisheries, animal husbandry, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the field of education, both parties can conduct seminars and public lectures. Similarly, collaborative research and publications are also possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"With the signing of this MoU, important matters can be worked on together, bringing benefits to both TIIKM and Undana,\" he concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For your information, in the discussion guided by Vice Rector IV for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems, Prof. Dr. Jefri S. Bale, ST., M.Eng, several areas of collaboration include academic mobility programs; joint conferences and seminars; staff exchange programs and professor visits; student exchange programs; short-term study visits and training programs for students and staff; joint degree programs; collaborative research; internship programs; and other agreed-upon potential collaborations.
