Meanwhile, Undana's Rector, Prof. Dr. drh. Maxs U. E. Sanam, M.Sc, expressed his appreciation in his speech to the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training (FKIP) at Undana, which has agreed to host the organization of the 61st Undana Anniversary.

Professor Maxs mentioned that in order to achieve Undana's excellence and glory, all components within Undana must maintain and enhance synergy, consolidation, and collaboration in their work.

The Rector emphasized that to advance Undana, it does not necessarily require someone exceptionally smart or intelligent to lead. This is because the people being led are Professors, Doctors, and Masters. "What we need is to find ways to mobilize the existing human resources' capacity to carry out extraordinary actions," he asserted.

Because, as the Rector of Undana continued, extraordinary ideas and concepts can come from Vice Rectors, Deans, Vice Deans, Heads of Study Programs, and other leaders within Undana.

The Rector mentioned that just this year, Undana has welcomed 12 new Professors. "What does this addition of 12 exceptional individuals mean? It means they must contribute and have an effective impact on everyone. The way to achieve this is through synergy and collaboration," he explained.

Professor Maxs reminded that anyone who will become a leader of Undana in the future or lead a faculty must prioritize the advancement of the institution over their personal progress.

The Rector even mentioned that lately, he has been criticized by the public and even internally at Undana. However, Prof. Maxs emphasized that despite this, Undana has not failed.

"I am actually happy, and criticism doesn't bother me. But don't you dare say that Undana is a failure; that makes me angry. It's fine if people want to criticize us, but I am determined to find a balance as soon as possible. We may have many shortcomings, but we must honestly acknowledge that significant improvements have been made," he emphasized.

All progress and development at Undana, the Rector mentioned, should not be claimed as individual contributions, but rather, all these advancements are thanks to collective efforts or the contributions of past and present Undana leaders.

"Once again, it requires synergy and collaboration to achieve Undana's excellence," concluded the Rector of Undana.
