Perum LKBN ANTARA Extends a Collaboration Offer for the Purpose of Undertaking Branding Activities for Universitas Nusa Cendana (Undana).

KUPANG – Universitas Nusa Cendana (Undana) was graced with a visit coupled with an exchange of goodwill from the State-Owned Enterprise of the National News Agency Institution (Perum LKBN) ANTARA. The visit by the Director of Finance and Risk Management, Nina Kurnia Dewi, and her team was warmly received by the Vice Rector IV for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems, Prof. Dr. Jefri S. Bale, ST., M.Eng, at the Meeting Room of Undana's Rectorate Building on Tuesday, 8th of August, 2023.

The presence of Nina Kurnia Dewi at Undana was accompanied by the attendance of Manager KSO Reuters, Rifal Wachyudi, Assistant Manager of Finance at the KSO Reuters Department, Neneng Dewi, as well as staff members from the Budget, Accounting, and Assets divisions of Perum LKBN ANTARA, including Irma Gestari, alongside the Head of NTT Bureau, Bernadus Tokan.

Also in attendance were the Coordinator of Planning, Cooperation, and Public Relations, Imanuel Saduk, SH., M.Hum, along with the Deputy Coordinator of Public Relations and Cooperation, Elizabeth Sabon Doni, SE., MM.

In her address, the Director of Finance and Risk Management, Nina Kurnia, extended a range of collaboration possibilities to Undana. Among these, she highlighted that Perum LKBN ANTARA is prepared to engage in branding activities for Undana. "We can assist in branding position through Integrated Media and Communication Services (IMCS)," she stated.

Undana's Vice Rector IV, Prof. Jefri Bale, presented a memento to ANTARA's Director of Finance and Risk Management, Nina Kurnia, accompanied by several officials.


Perum LKBN ANTARA, as articulated by Nina Kurnia, operates in two distinct business segments, namely News Broadcasting through Public Service Obligations (PSO) in the field of Journalism, and Commercial Business. She noted that various government institutions, including universities, have already engaged in collaborations with ANTARA, such as the University of Indonesia, Udayana University Bali, and others.

Furthermore, she stated that in the field of News Broadcasting, Perum LKBN ANTARA is obligated to fulfill requests from the Ministry of Communication and Informatics for various agendas. setting national matters that are processed in the form of texts, articles, photographs, and images story, video story, video hard news, video features, infographics, and podcast.

"Furthermore, there is the Commercial Business segment which involves collaborations with news agencies for various services, such as data services through Bloomberg and Reuters and IMCS service," she added.

Nina expressed her hope for further communication regarding the IMCS services that could be reinforced by Undana Kupang and ANTARA's NTT Bureau, thereby aiding Undana's public relations efforts.

Meanwhile, Undana's Vice Rector IV, Prof. Dr. Jefri S. Bale, ST., M.Eng, welcomed the presence of Director of Finance and Risk Management, Nina Kurnia, along with her entourage. Prof. Jefri made it clear that Undana is committed to collaborations and institutionalization. In relation to the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, as mentioned by Vice Rector IV, he highlighted that students are encouraged to engage in learning beyond the classroom, library, and laboratories. Students have the opportunity to learn in business establishments, villages, and even private and government institutions to enhance their skill sets.

According to him, the information presented by the Director of Finance and Risk Management, Nina Kurnia, has the potential to serve as a collaborative opportunity not only for the benefit of Perum LKBN ANTARA but also for Undana.

 After the joint discussion, Undana, represented by Vice Rector IV Prof. Jefri, presented a commemorative plaque to Perum LKBN ANTARA. Conversely, Perum LKBN ANTARA, represented by Director of Finance and Risk Management Nina Kurnia, provided a token of appreciation in the form of a premium ANTARA photograph to Undana. (rfl).
