SALATIGA – As a follow-up to the Satya Wacana Christian University (SWCU) leadership's roadshow activity at Nusa Cendana University (Undana) about a month ago, this time the two higher education leaders signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The signing of the MoU was carried out by Undana Chancellor Prof. Dr. drh. Maxs U.E. Sanam, M.Sc and SWCU Rector Prof. Dr. Intiyas Utami, S.E., M.Sc., Ak, in the VIP Room at the SWCU University Hall, Monday (10/7/2023).
The Undana delegation was received by the Intiyas Chancellor accompanied by the Deputy Chancellor for Teaching, Academic and Student Affairs Prof. Ferdy Samuel Rondonuwu, S.Pd., M.Sc., Ph.D., and Deputy Chancellor for Cooperation and Alumni Affairs Yafet Yosafet Wilben Rissy, S.H., M.Sc., LLM., Ph.D (AFHEA), as well Director of the Directorate of Cooperation (Diker) Dian Toar Yusak Getroidester Sumakul, S.Pd., M.A. This meeting was also attended by the heads of each faculty at SWCU.
Present on the occasion, Head of Undana General Affairs and Finance Bureau, Dra. Karolina K. Sangkala, M.Si, Deputy Dean I for Academic Affairs, Dr. Rolland E. Fanggidae, MM and the Head of the Goods and Services Procurement Work Unit, (UKPBJ), Dr. Soni Doc, S.Pt., M.Kes.
On that occasion, the SWCU Chancellor welcomed the cooperation in terms of integrated higher education Tri Dharma. He considered that this meeting could be continued with concrete actions for common progress.

"Faculties at SWCU can communicate about cooperation with UNDANA in the existing faculty consortium," said Prof. Intyas.
Meanwhile, Prof. Ferdy Samuel Rondonuwu revealed SWCU's flagship programs, one of which is the Freedom Talents Curriculum.
He explained, the curriculum that will be launched in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year is aligned with the Outcome-Based Education (OBE)-based curriculum from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristek).
This is evidenced by the student's final project which is adjusted to the talents of each individual according to their study program. In addition, student activity can also be converted into a Semester Credit System (SKS) to meet the graduate learning achievement profile.
Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. drh. Maxs U.E. Sanam expressed his gratitude for being accepted at the beautiful Mini Indonesia Campus.
“SWCU is one of the best private universities in Indonesia. We welcome and are happy, also seriously welcome the cooperation that will be carried out," he said.
Prof. Maxs also appreciated and agreed with the implementation of the Independent Talents Curriculum. "The Talent Merdeka curriculum is extraordinary and we want to learn too," he added.
For example, the cooperation that can be carried out between SWCU and UNDANA, he continued joint research, joint publication, dan juga student exchange. He hopes that the signed MoU will be realized in real action.
